Our next TEDxMünchen:

10th November 2019

Münchner Kammerspiele

At a moment in time when societies across the globe seem stuck in polarization and day to day challenges we want to look far ahead. With our theme “BACK TO THE FUTURE!” we will open the TEDxMünchen stage for visionary scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, designers and many other thought leaders. We will celebrate imagination, innovation and creativity and are looking for ideas, projects and theses that can change the world in the future.  A special focus will be on supposedly "old" ideas and values that might lead us to a future worth living in.

We can’t wait to welcome you again at the Münchner Kammerspiele on November 10th 2019!

TEDxYouth@München / July 11th 2019 @ Muffatwerke München

On July 11th 2019 we were guests at the legendary Muffathalle München. The theme of TEDxYouth@München 2019 was “WHO, IF NOT US?”. Whether it is regarding topics like climate protection, open borders or the chances of digitalization ”Generation Z” is taking more and more responsibility for the future of our planet and our society. Young adults and children all over the world unite with creativity and imagination to stand up for a peaceful and just future for the next generations. In this year‘s TEDxYouth@München we explored ideas and projects that relate to a younger audience and inspire changemakers under 25 to step forward and shape our future in a positive way.

We're still completely overwhelmed and totally overjoyed! Thanks so much to each and everyone who turned this event into an unforgettable happening - all of you guests, partners, team members and everyone else involved in any way. We can't wait to make this happen again next year!

TEDxMünchen has been bringing „ideas worth spreading“ to Munich since 2014.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)

About TED
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many of these talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sal Khan and Daniel Kahneman.

The annual TED Conference takes place each spring in Vancouver, British Columbia. TED’s media initiatives include TED.com, where new TED Talks are posted daily; the Open Translation Project, which provides subtitles and interactive transcripts as well as translations from volunteers worldwide; the educational initiative TED-Ed. TED has established the annual TED Prize, where exceptional individuals with a wish to change the world get help translating their wishes into action; TEDx, which supports individuals or groups in hosting local, self- organized TED-style events around the world, and the TED Fellows program, helping world-changing innovators from around the globe to amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities.

TEDx began in 2009 as a licensing experiment created in the spirit of TED‘s philosophy of radical openness. Independently organized, TEDx events are designed to spark deep conversation and connections within local communities.
Globally, TEDx has grown into a big community and continues to offer a global stage to innovative approaches and ideas of inspiring speakers from various fields within our society.
TEDxMünchen is organized and curated by Gregor Wöltje and Florian ZibertGeneral Manager of ZIBERT + FRIENDS consulting GmbH.
